The Sallar mobile app has been approved by Google Play. Until now, Sallar mobile versions were available only through the official website in a limited access model. This was never a question of product readiness. It was the result of strict distribution policies applied by major mobile platforms toward DePIN, decentralized infrastructure, background network activity, and provider based participation models. That stage is now completed. Sallar Lite has passed the required platform review process and is moving from limited website access into global Android availability through Google Play. This is an important step for the Sallar ecosystem. Users no longer need to rely only on direct website access to join the mobile layer of the network. Android onboarding becomes cleaner, safer, trustful and easier to access worldwide. Sallar now joins a small group of decentralized infrastructure projects with an official mobile app available through Google Play. The structure remains the same, web and desktop apps operate as Mother Nodes, while the mobile app operates as a Lite Node connected to them. The Mother Node remains the direct benefit channel for providers, and the Lite Node extends the provider structure through mobile devices. Android users can now install Sallar Lite from Google Play, connect it to their Mother Node, and enter the new Sallar node architecture through an official mobile distribution channel. Sallar Lite is now globally available for Android onboarding. 🐍

Today is an important architectural milestone for the Sallar ecosystem. The new Sallar app is now live on desktop and web, becoming the main platform for managing participation in the network. This release changes the operating model of the ecosystem by moving from separate device instances toward a structured node hierarchy built around Mother Nodes and Lite Nodes. Onboarding is now open. As the ecosystem grows, provider participation needs a clearer structure, simpler supervision, and a more unified way to organize active resources. This release creates that foundation. Rewards continue every 4 hours together with on-chain epochs, powered by Solana technology. The Sallar Network has already processed over 15M transfers, and the new app gives this activity a more organized operational layer. Nosana is one of the most recognized projects on @solana and a DePIN network that provides decentralized GPU compute for AI workloads. Nosana and Sallar are integrating their networks across device classes, combining a mobile and lightweight device tier with a high performance GPU tier. The objective is to expand the offering and reduce the unit cost of AI inference by matching each workload stage to the smallest sufficient class of GPU hardware. Compared to models from a few years ago, language models now deliver materially higher capability per parameter, and the pace of improvement is fast. Tasks that previously required very large LLMs can often be handled by much smaller ones. In practice, that shifts the GPU requirement from “largest available” to “sufficient for the target quality”, which increases throughput per GPU and lowers the hardware footprint needed per inference job. The mobile and lightweight device tier is designed for high volume collection and preparation, including web crawling and converting files into clean, structured text. It also supports batch inference with SLMs for summarization and structured extraction, plus embedding generation with compact or edge optimized models when the workload is primarily throughput driven. The high performance GPU tier is used for large models when compute throughput and memory capacity are the limiting constraints. This includes running larger language models for generation and reasoning when higher compute and memory headroom is required. @nosana_ai and Sallar are integrating now and will continue exploring additional integration paths based on aligned goals around decentralized GPU infrastructure for AI workloads in Web3.

We just shipped a major app update that completes our entire TEE technology stack. The core implementation is finished, and we are now focused on deep integration and reorganizing the application for seamless, production ready performance. The first TEE powered services are expected to launch in February on the Sallar network as a powerful new utility layer for enterprises and individual users alike. TEEs solve a core modern challenge: processing sensitive data safely on systems you do not fully control, especially in the cloud. They originated in the early 2000s with ARM TrustZone for mobile devices and later expanded through major industry efforts such as Intel SGX and AMD SEV. Their main purpose is confidential computing: protecting data during active processing even when the host OS or cloud provider might be untrusted. A TEE works by creating a hardware isolated enclave, meaning shielded memory that only the code running inside can access. The host system can still manage resources or stop the process, but under the intended security model it cannot read enclave memory or silently alter enclave contents without breaking integrity guarantees. Remote attestation provides cryptographic proof that genuine hardware is in use and that the expected code is running. Only then should sensitive inputs such as API keys, customer information, or personal documents be sent into the enclave. For everyday phone users, TEE is quietly responsible for security features we rely on daily. Contactless payments are designed so payment credentials and signing operations are handled inside secure, hardware backed components, reducing exposure even if the main OS is compromised. Biometric templates are typically stored and matched inside secure environments, so apps and the broader system do not receive raw biometric data. Password manager keys, secure boot checks that help detect device tampering, and protected media playback commonly depend on TEE style isolation to keep sensitive operations separated and harder to extract. Real world examples include AWS Nitro Enclaves, which minimize attack surface by removing direct network access and persistent storage and communicating only with the parent instance, and AMD SEV, which encrypts full VM memory with dedicated per VM keys. These approaches differ in architecture, but the objective is the same - preserving the confidentiality and integrity of computation in hostile or untrusted hosting conditions. For Sallar users, this means businesses can run confidential workflows with provable, tamper resistant execution, while individuals get significantly safer personal data handling in practical tools. In February, we expect to deliver the first live TEE utilities, and we will expand the feature set step by step afterward.
