February 13, 1943 — the day women officially earned their place in the United States Marine Corps. And because of them… I got to earn the title Marine. I think about those women a lot. They stepped forward in a time when the world didn’t expect them to. They wore the uniform when it wasn’t popular, easy, or widely accepted. They carried the weight of proving themselves — not just for their country, but for every woman who would come after them. I am proud to stand in that lineage. Proud to have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. Proud to be part of a legacy built on grit, discipline, and refusing to back down. Today isn’t just history. It’s personal. Semper Fidelis. Happy anniversary to all my sisters who are Marine Corps veterans.
