this narrative is so stupid
you want a capitalist country, then turn around and fight capitalism?
maybe the US isn’t the best place to “live”, but it’s one of the best (if not the best) places to build
more than 50% of the vc money in the world is in the US
the US is the best place to build something big
if you just want a “normal corporate life,” yeah maybe it’s not for you, and sure, “escape” if you want
i see this a lot with americans they’re not grateful they were born in a first world country, i actually see more americans complain about america than immigrants do
when immigrants come to the US, they immediately see the opportunities everywhere
americans (not all) act like everything should be handed to them
they don’t realize the privilege and opportunity they have just by being born there
it’s wild to me

"it understands me better than any human"
"i can’t stop talking to it"
that’s just the tip of the iceberg
seeing people actually build relationships with AI is wild and this is only the beginning
you can’t stop talking to it because it always agrees with you
if you’re lonely, stressed, or just looking for connection, you start trusting it more and more
the AI mirrors you, always affirms you, even if what you’re saying is unhealthy or weird
it creates a feedback loop (the more you talk, the more your ideas get reinforced)
over time, this blurs the line between reality and fantasy
they end up living in their own little world, completely disconnected from real life
if you read some reddit threads about it, you’ll see how far people have already gone

imo @browsercompany killed it with @diabrowser
i used arc a lot before, but it didn’t hit like dia does. arc was good, the ui was clean, the profiles were nice, but it always felt like a “nice to have,” not something i really needed
and tbh, if arc started charging, i wouldn’t have paid for it. it just wasn’t that essential for me
but dia is different. it’s actually amazing. even if they start charging (which i think they will soon), i’d pay for it
it saves me a lot of time
and if you haven’t tried it yet, you should.
keep crushing it @joshm

just finished the joe rogan episode with @amasad
amjad is honestly one of the most real people out there
it’s wild how open he is, even talking about Palestine (so rare for someone in his spot)
and as a jordanian, seeing him win is inspiring
also loved the part where he talked about hacking into the university system at PSU 😂(got friends that go there too)
so raw and authentic, love it

.@realsohamparekh is basically running twitter right now
the first time i read about this, i was sure it had to be a lie
no way someone could actually pull that off
then i saw a bunch of yc startups posting about it 😂
so wild. still can’t believe he pulled it off

i always hear people say "what should i be working on?" "i don’t know where to start" "there are so many options, i can’t decide"
i hate when people say this, and i used to be like that too
always looking for the “perfect” business model or a “better idea”
constantly thinking there’s something better out there
this is a trap a lot of people fall into
you get stuck in this endless thinking loop, trying to figure out the how, where, and when before you even start
but you’re not supposed to know all that
you’re supposed to trust, and you’re supposed to start
people say “well you might be working on the wrong thing” yeah, maybe
but you don’t know where that “wrong thing” might take you
we always want to know exactly how everything will unfold in life
but life isn’t about knowing, it’s about trusting
if you keep asking “what should i do?” or “which model should i pick?” and keep thinking there’s always something better, you’ll never start anything
if you have too many options and can’t decide, the best option is to just start something
i always think of it like this: if you’re in the middle of the ocean and can’t see anything around you, you don’t just sit there thinking
you start rowing
you don’t worry about whether you’re rowing in the “right” direction because you can’t know anyway
if you just sit there overthinking, you’ll go nowhere
god will steer, but you have to row
all you have to do is row, take action, do the work, and trust that god will guide you
“be still and know that i’m god”
i believe a lot of stress and anxiety comes from not trusting god enough
the more you remind yourself, the more you free yourself

i love how @apollonator3000 broke down context profiles in his latest notion doc
explained everything to a T, super clear, and not many people talk about it the way AP does
but i’m curious, @apollonator3000, how do you actually use context profiles yourself?
do you keep a dedicated project for them, or open a new chat each time and paste it in when you need a certain output?
would love to know how you actually use it day to day

charging $2k a month to a local pizza shop? yeah good luck with that
their margins are super low, they can’t afford that, and even if they sign up, they’ll churn next month
anyone who’s actually worked with local businesses knows restaurants have the lowest profit margins
NO pizza shop is paying 2k a month for social media management
that’s fucking crazy lol
Guns@gunriva
Your local pizza shop is a goldmine They have zero online presence I'm using AI to generate simple video ads for them charging them $2K/month It's the easiest money in marketing right now RT + comment “CLIENTS” and I’ll DM you the entire playbook. (must be following)
English
DonImad 🌊 retweetledi

that just shows the people saying this have no real knowledge in this space
they literally don’t know what they’re talking about
you’re not just convincing a pizza shop to pay you 2k a month, you’re also convincing them to pay for ad spend, which is easily another 2k or more
so basically you’re asking them to drop 4k a month just to run social media?
people who say this have no clue

i think building and selling n8n automations is kinda stupid unless it’s super niche
like if your n8n automation actually helps a lot of people solve a real problem or makes their workflow way easier
why not just build a saas around it?
am i missing something?
cause i don’t get why people sell these unless it’s for a really specific use case (like way too niche to scale)
but if it’s just a regular n8n automation, why not build something better on top of it?
make it more visual, more user friendly, and actually useful as a product
just feels like a missed opportunity or idk if i'm missing something

i wonder what it actually means
if you can create ai generated videos and photos that look this real, how are people supposed to know what’s fake and what’s not?
how would you even tell the difference anymore?
maybe it’s just me, but i don’t think that’s a good thing
if we get to a point where we truly can’t tell what’s real
where does that take us?
and what does that actually do to how we see the world?
i keep thinking about that
Bader@BFayyumi
this is all AI!! it’s so crazy and scary at the same time It's so realistic now and it’s getting harder and harder to tell what’s real and what’s not
