Remembering college chum 1LT Thomas Chiminello who died in Vietnam on October 29, 1967. Vietnam Wall: Panel 28E, Line 95. It seems like it was only yesterday. His sister Barbara, also in Flight operations, escorted his body to San Antonio.

I’m very into the alien stuff but these kinds of videos aren’t compelling to me. There are a million explanations for random nondescript blobs in the sky before you get to extraterrestrial life forms. Also why would aliens come all this way just to zip around the sky in erratic patterns? What would even be the point?

In memoriam: Coxswain James Ray Dodson was my late mother's cousin. He and the crew of USS Grayback were sunk by a Japanese torpedo bomber. They are on "Eternal Patrol" at the bottom of the South China Sea - near 25° 47'N x 128° 45'E, south of Okinawa. God bless his soul.
