You need a photo ID to board a plane or cash a check. It should be required to vote in federal elections too. The SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship and voter ID. Working families deserve the same educational choices that wealthy and politically connected families already have. Illinois should opt-in to the new federal scholarship tax credit so parents can use privately donated funds for tuition, tutoring, or special education support.
