Neither! I would prefer to remain single if those are my choices! I prefer a God-fearing, God loving woman who puts God first, Jesus second, husband third but first in this life. A husband is a representation of God he must be obedient to God the father and have a heart surrendered to God. Always praying and communicating with God. A Godly woman loves and respects her husband as she does God. I could go on and on, but hopefully, everyone gets the picture. The reason we are in the pickle we are in today is because she (Eve) listened to some slick snake (dude) put doubt in her heart and mind. Causing her to doubt her husband's words and ultimately disrespecting him! Thus the reason the husband must always be her authority. Because women are easily swayed by half truths, lies, and doubts. Satan, after all, was the most beautiful angel of all (he was a handsome devil). I've seen it in time and again. Am I right?

The heavenly realm of God is not the same as the one we are bound to and live in. When Satan was cast out of heaven and fell to Earth, I'm speculating it didn't exist yet until God created it as stated in Genesis 1:1. Here's a hypothesis for the difference between the realm Heaven and our realm that we live in. Everybody knows the sci-fi comic books like Superman, etc. In those comics, the villain is locked away in deep space in some kind of prison, right. When God created the heavens and the earth, he created it bound to the laws of physics. Hence, the correlation between the comic books and evil villains. Satan can not escape this realm. That is to say, universe we are bound to because of the laws of physics. There is no escape from this realm to get to heaven. Our perspective of heaven has been limited to what we can see. There is a spiritual realm (God's realm) that does not follow the laws of physics. Neither does it follow any known space-time theorem, either. What we see is what God has allowed us to see. If we could see into the spiritual realm, it would scare us so bad that every living human God created would repent immediately. But God gave us this thing called FREE WILL to choose eternal life or eternal death and destruction. If you doubt what I just wrote, read the book of Daniel and Revelation. What if the following verse is pointing to something even deeper than we usually see? “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 (KJV) What if the “few are chosen” is also talking about people like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, the disciples, and Saul who became Paul? These weren’t just regular believers who got saved. They were sovereignly chosen by God for history-shaping assignments: * Noah to build the ark and restart humanity * Abraham to father nations and the bloodline of the Messiah Moses to deliver Israel and bring us the Law * David to be king and a man after God’s own heart * The disciples to walk with Jesus and turn the world upside down * Paul to carry the Gospel to the Gentiles So here’s the bold question for you today: Are YOU one of God’s chosen leaders? * Each of us have been commissioned to spread the GOSPEL. Let’s look at the full context so we don’t miss what Jesus is really saying. In the Parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22:1-14), a King (God the Father) prepares a marriage supper for His Son (Jesus). He first invites the religious elite of Israel — they refuse and even kill the messengers. So the King throws the invitation wide open to everyone on the highways and byways — the “bad and good” alike. The hall fills up! But when the King comes in to inspect the guests, He spots one man without the proper wedding garment. “How did you get in here without it?” The man has no answer. The King commands him bound and cast into outer darkness. Then Jesus drops the line: “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Here’s the double truth: The many are all who hear the gospel call — “Come to the feast! Be born again!” The few are those who truly respond, put on the wedding garment (the righteousness of Christ by faith), AND among them, God sovereignly chooses certain ones for special Kingdom assignments — just like Noah, Moses, Abraham, the disciples, and Paul. You can be saved and still miss your assignment. Or you can be saved AND chosen for something bigger than you ever imagined. So again, I ask you, beloved: Are you just “called”… or are you ready to be chosen? Do you feel like the world hates you? Does it feel like everything you do to succeed in this life fails? Do you feel the whole world hates you? All of these things I have faced all my life. I don't normally post these things here, but I think 🤔 it might be of interest to note how much society is changing. Should I post more things like this and tie it into the end times events? I would simply say, "Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you!" Sometimes God will have you start in the middle of the New Testament and then jump to Exodus or anywhere in the Bible. If they insist, I just say close your eyes and listen to God's voice and open the Bible, and the first verse you read is where you can start. I do that almost every day, and it's always an accurate word from God. It's a word of encouragement, a word of reproof or a word against something I need to address in my life. Assuming they have been born-again and filled with the Holy Spirit. God has a way of guiding even new believers. Am I right?

Sarah, I agree wholeheartedly. God made promises to Israel alone. Actually, I should say covenants for Israel as his chosen people (i.e., children). The church is all born-again believers in Christ Jesus. Two distinct people who will inherit the kingdom of God. I love the Lord my God, and I wish I could be a part of seeing Israel return to God. That is to say, recognize Jesus was and is and always will be the Messiah. As Christians, we must recognize that we Gentiles are grafted into the olive tree. @HisHope4us That's cool! The only thing different is that there is no lightning and thundering coming from that cloud, like in the days of Moses and being in the presence of God. I can only imagine how awesome and scary that might have been.

From the beginning, God's plan has always been to bring mankind back to him for all eternity. As Christians, we are the church. We are the bride of Christ. In the Garden of Eden, God created Adam from the earth. He then saw that Adam was lonely and needed a helper. So he created Eve not from the earth but from Adam's rib to walk beside him. God presented Eve to Adam as his bride. God is the Father of Adam, and he was also Eve's Father. Spiritually, of course, and symbolic of the church in the final days. Jesus was the second Adam, and the church is his bride. God's omniscience knows the outcome before time began.
