WNBA Play 🏀 (For Tomorrow) Malonga X Taylor X Reese Points Ladder 🪜 Running with 2 absolute longshots for tomorrow’s slate. I don’t post many of these, but I really love these spots tomorrow. Dom Malonga gets a great matchup against the Indiana Fever. Over their last 10 games, the Fever have allowed the 2nd highest opponent % from less than 10 feet and the 2nd most opponent points in the paint per game. They have also allowed the 3rd most opponent restricted area FGM and the 3rd most opponent mid range FGA during that span. Malonga scores 65% of her points from less than 10 feet, 68% of her points in the paint, 57% of her points in the restricted area, and another 14.5% from the mid range. The Fever are also a bottom 2 defense against the PnR Roll Man, where Malonga scores 19% of her points. They also rank bottom 2 defending free throws, post ups, transition, and isolation, which account for another 36% of her scoring. She’s had a rough stretch lately, but the opportunity has still been there. Against bottom 5 defenses versus the PnR Roll Man, Malonga has scored 20+ points in 2 of 4 games. In the other two, she finished with 19 points in just 17 minutes while returning from injury and 16 points despite shooting just 6/16 from the field and 4/9 from the free throw line. Expecting plenty of quality looks for Malonga tomorrow against a weak interior defense. Angel Reese gets another matchup against the Toronto Tempo. Reese has stayed under this line in both meetings with Toronto, but the volume has been elite. She attempted 19 and 13 field goals while getting to the line 4 and 6 times. Over their last 10 games, the Tempo have allowed: • MOST offensive rebounds • 2nd most opponent restricted area FGM per game • 2nd most opponent unassisted basket percentage allowed They have also been a bottom 5 defense against free throws, putbacks, and the PnR Roll Man, where Reese scores 50% of her points. There also seems to be some lingering tension between Reese and Harrison dating back to their first matchup. Reese is the type of player I like to back in these situations because she usually comes out looking to be aggressive and force the issue offensively. Taking Sydney Taylor against the horrendous Sparks defense. Over their last 10 games, the Sparks have allowed: • Most opponent 3PA per game • 3rd most above the break 3PA per game Taylor scores 54% of her points from three, with 47% coming from above the break. The Sparks have also been a bottom 5 defense against spot ups and transition, where Taylor scores 42% of her points. Skylar Diggins is still out, and there’s a chance Cardoso misses this game as well. If both are unavailable, Taylor should be asked to carry a much bigger offensive load to keep the Sky competitive. If you’ve made it this far, let me know your thoughts below. Likes are always appreciated as these write ups take a long time to put together. 0.15U 0.10U #GamblingX #NBA #WNBA

The Aliyah Boston turn up pregame

WNBA Play 🏀 Alyssa Thomas 20+ Points (+390 FanDuel) 🏀 Running Alyssa Thomas for 20+ points tomorrow with the FanDuel boost. This is an excellent matchup against an Indiana Fever team playing on the second night of a back to back that already struggles to defend paint scorers. Over their last 10 games, Indiana is allowing: • Most points in the paint per game • Highest opponent less than 10 FT % allowed • 2nd most opponent restricted area field goals made per game On the season, the Fever also allow: • Most free throws made per game (18% of Thomas’ scoring comes at the line) • 2nd most points to the PnR roll man (17% of her scoring) • 2nd most transition points (13% of her scoring) There’s also the narrative angle. I don’t usually bet narratives, but Alyssa Thomas seems to play with extra aggression against Caitlin Clark and the Fever (I know CC is out tomorrow). From watching their previous matchups, she’s much more assertive looking for her own offense instead of immediately deferring. The box scores back that up as well. In her 2 games against the Fever this season AT has had: 19 points on 8/12 FG, 3/5 FT 24 points on 12/17 FG I’m not risking a full ladder because Thomas isn’t a high volume scorer every night and can always shift into facilitator mode, but I think +390 offers enough value to take a shot at 20+ points. 0.4U #GamblingX #NBA #WNBA
