There is one major neglected feature with nearly all video games since the early 2000's. 5.1 & 7.1 Audio Surround. Very few games added it. Audio card manufacturers bailed making actual 5.1/7.1 cards. This 3D Stereo is awful sounding and horrible in FPS Spacial Awareness. 1/2

@mcquack306 The difference for me was Tango was working on active projects and was bringing old school horror back to the table. Bluepoint was twiddling their thumbs most of the time, doing remasters for like 15-16 years and had one new project in 20 years that got scrapped.

Hogwarts Legacy also defies the “go woke, go broke” trend. It is one of the wokest games I have ever played; as obnoxious about it as Last of Us 2. It depicts a nineteenth century Hogwarts that is about 60% nonwhite. One of the major characters is an African exchange student. A character whose job in the game is to run a series of side quests about solving puzzles in the environment randomly informs you that she is gay. The Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade is run by a non-passing transwoman named Sirona Ryan and there is a sidequest where you collect lost letters to learn the story of Sirona’s transition.

@RealMarcFoxx Control Schemes were not as refined back then. This was peak controls back in the day. Has it aged well? Hell no. I hate that scheme to this day. But the style fits the era because at the time, it was just a D-Pad and no thumb sticks.
