Joined MLA Macklin McCall for a tour of the Okanagan Correctional Centre. Thank you to the staff who shared their experiences and raised important points about rural staffing and community safety. Facilities like OCC matter for both public safety and local career opportunities.

Good discussion with the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC at the Legislature about building housing in BC. Reducing build costs, stabilizing the Energy Step Code, and streamlining approvals are key priorities builders raised. On the ground input matters.

I asked the Minister to confirm the timeline for Okanagan Falls incorporation during Estimates. Letters patent could be ready by the end of June, allowing a municipal election in Oct 2026. Full video: Website: buff.ly/ShnXVzm YouTube: buff.ly/UbIRbTq

Congratulations to the Similkameen Sparks from Keremeos on winning the BC 1A Boys Basketball Provincial Championship. The No. 10 seed completed an incredible underdog run, defeating defending champions St. John’s 75–63 in the final. A proud moment for the Similkameen Valley.

International Women’s Day may have passed, but it is still worth recognizing the women serving communities across BC. Proud to stand alongside my colleagues in the Conservative Caucus as we represent our ridings. 🎥 Watch the video.

NEW - @MLABrennanDay tries to introduce a motion to get rid of 1st reading time wasting debate by changing standing orders to let 1st reading bills be automatically approved, like House of Commons. New Democrats oppose it. 🤦‍♂️

Met with members of the United Steelworkers to discuss the future of forestry in BC. Forestry remains a cornerstone of rural communities and supports thousands of families across our province. BC’s forestry workers deserve a government focused on keeping this sector strong.

Freedom of Information helps ensure government transparency and accountability. Changes in Bill 9 would expand the reasons FOI requests can be dismissed and introduce new fees for records that should already be public. British Columbians deserve open and transparent government.

Honoured to attend the Salmon for Generations reception with the First Nations Fisheries Council and the Pacific Salmon Foundation. Wild Pacific salmon are central to Indigenous culture, our ecosystems, and coastal communities. Recovery takes partnership and long-term commitment

$13.3B deficit. $6.3B in interest payments. Keremeos ER open 3 days a week. Flood mitigation in Tulameen, Princeton & Keremeos still unfunded. Boundary–Similkameen deserves leadership — not spin. 🎥 Watch this excerpt from my budget speech.

Fourteen years. 2,602 provincially funded RCMP.
Same number as 2012. But we’re told 256 officers were added and it’s “historic.” You can’t freeze positions, re-spend the money, then re-announce it and call that growth.

While families lose autism funding and seniors are being told there’s no money, the NDP is spending tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on gift cards for government bureaucrats.
