The intended way you’re supposed to play Elden Ring is through posture breaking bosses and using riposte to inflict damage. Something the dungeon fights teach you but the remembrance bosses don’t apply, which is why the remembrance list of elden ring is so bad.

@Kaiser_Lizard Ds2 haters not understanding that you get levels way more often than the other games. You can get to 20 adp by the first area and that’s plenty, damage stat scaling is also much less important so you have more levels to allocate elsewhere

@DongoBongo19 What's appealing about tyrion is that he is actually smart, but he's underestimated because of his dwarfism. You can say a lot of his choices come down to using his wealth but put cersei or someone else in his spots and they will fuck up a lot of his choices.

@DongoBongo19 @Invinium Zero gaslighting is required to think that Stormveil, Leyndell, Shadow Keep, Farum Azula, the Haligtree, etc. are substantially better levels than anything to be found in Dark Souls. Heck, your average catacomb has a more sophisticated layout than Anor Londo.

i think the first part of the archives are mechanically pretty neat and the reversing of the steps to traverse are cool, but the second half with the crystals and 14 copy pasted crystal golems felt super lazy. the platforming is a little jank there too. ngl for 4 kings i always just slap on havels and mash R1, i dont think i've ever actually engaged with the fight "normally"

i dont find the dukes archives enjoyable and Seath is frankly a pretty ass fight. tomb of the giants is thematically awesome but mechanically actually annoying as shit, and Nito is also frustrating as hell with endless mobs spawning. 4 kings is just a DPS check. gwyn dies to 3 parries. really doesn't hold a candle to the first half IMO
