STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART; I’ve been in a relationship with my girlfriend for three years. We met at university & had big plans for our future together. However, the past five months have been really difficult for me because she’s been picking fights over small, petty issues. For example, she asked me to grow a beard because she thinks bearded men look "good." I told her I’d tried before & it didn’t work, but I gave it another shot anyway. When it still didn’t grow, she became angry & stayed moody for weeks. Then she said she didn’t like where I was living, so I moved to a more expensive place, only for her to complain that it’s now too small. She avoids talking about our future. Whenever I bring up visiting her parents at the end of the year, she shows no interest and tells me to “take my time.” Recently, out of the blue, she said she needed a break to think about her life. She’s currently staying with her sister & she said she’d be back in two weeks. I’m really worried that I might be losing her. I love her. Please advise. Herbert
