@BrosephTft 1 thing I would add: general: I think the current tanks excluding 3 star 3 costs are a bit too frail especially with the tank items silent nerfs. Don’t know which bar needs to be moved but I feel like my frontline is always paper even when I think it is strong.

Heros Yasuo - Solar, Cryogenic, and Storm hex are too strong. Storm Hex + Starship Asol is super overtuned. I think he's the only unit that makes the boon such a problem Varus - Stage 4 1% increased 5-Cost odds is too weak, I think there should be a small amount of gold attached

@Mortdog Any chance there will be more transparency in the future when you guys adjust core gameplay features like returning augments and items from set to set? I just saw this again yesterday when I took warlords honor and realized it was less stats than on live, just one example.

Good morning everyone. As we wrap up Day 2 of Space Gods PBE, it's time for our first big batch of changes and balance adjustments. Probably the biggest shift here is the large nerfs in the 5 cost space. While we want the top end comps to run one to three 5 costs to power them up, we don't want to end up in a world where 5 cost soup is the optimal line. So we're pulling a pretty substantial amount of power out of them, to allow other strategies to do well. Beyond that, with there being no encounters that adjust augments, we're upping the rates of Prismatic augments by default a bit, to get the total odds to closer to what we're used to in previous sets. From there, lots of little adjustments. Channeler is now called Conduit, some god offerings got buffed, and tooltips are getting more info added to be clearer. And of course, lots of bug fixes. Thanks all for the feedback so far. Hopefully from here on out things are smooth. Have fun, and take it easy :)

@Mortdog I know the precedent with previous sets with treasure realms has been to not give interest/xp after the round, but is this the right call? I feel like players are down more gold on average after rolling the treasure realm to get what they want, and the lvl interval feels weird

@Mortdog Hey mort, thanks to you and your team for figuring out the server issues yesterday! I wanted to let you know about an arbiter bug I experienced yesterday where I chose 3 attacks —> chance for free rerolls, and ended up with a chance to get a 0 free rerolls! It was truly 0 hahaha

Good morning folks. Happy April! We're on Day 1 of PBE, and with the late start, no crazy balance changes or shifts yet. Today's changes are just around some base AP item stats, and then lots of bug fixes. You can likely expect to see our first bigger balance shift tomorrow.

[16.6] ITEM TIER LIST UPDATED S-tier is dpeiBIS (anti-heal, shred, and sunder) but I also added JG, Guinsoo's, Spirit Visage. AP lines are dominant and JG is great item econ in those lines. Guinsoo's is just a necessary item for most AD lines, and Spirit Visage is just overstatted. Full tier list and explanations: tftgameplan.com/tierlist/items What are you disagreeing with?

@Mortdog hold 7 bilge on bench and toggle to get 1 bilge item (pref mf and we can go brew bilge item +1 on mf with a kallista duo. level 9 drop gp illaoi yorick for fiddle voli/rift/wukong and play shyv senna ornn for max cap. This is just a thoretical comp but I think it will be v strong

@Mortdog If these changes go thru, this comp is about to be beyond broken. right is the core and left is the flex units/level 9 cap. play bilge +si early game until you get 30 souls for kallista, than drop si entierly and play 5-7 bilge to get serp. toggle si for thresh unlock on 8 (1/2)

Follow up from yesterdays post about unlocks changing in 16.6. The first batch of changes will be heading to PBE either later today or tomorrow, but wanted to give everyone the first glimpse of what we are changing. Attached is the full list of every planned unlock change. If it's not listed, assume it is not changing. Next, let's talk about follow up changes. We know we can't just make these changes and call it a day, and they will have impacting effects on balance. The balance changes won't be on PBE quite yet (team is working on it), but some stuff you can expect include: -Shadow Isles scaling adjusted so the champs are better base units and not as reliant on souls -Ixtal nerfs to compensate for easier access to their 4 costs -Veigar and 8 Yordle nerfs -Prismatic quest augments reworked or disabled -General balance for all the champs based on their accessibility -and more! I'll also note that these are NOT final. One of the reasons we're getting them to PBE ASAP is to be able to have time to respond to feedback. If folks end up with some strong negative feels after trying them out, we'll be sure to adjust before our patch locks. If you end up playing these on PBE, give us feedback. We'll be paying pretty close attention to things like scrims. And all the changes will be LOCKED by next Wednesday so if you are looking for stable practice, after that day will be the best. @Mortdog Like the idea here but I am scared about nidalee being so easy to unlock after this change. She is def less of a threat w/o neeko 3 but she is still quite an annoying unit to face, esp when this easy to play into. Would like to see her nerfed just a little with this unlock change

Hey everyone. I wanted to take a moment to talk about some larger changes to the unlock mechanic coming in Patch 16.6 (the one in 2 weeks), and what you can expect from that patch. So as we've seen Lore & Legends develop and has been in players hands for a few months, we've learned a lot about what has worked and has been less successful with the unlock system, which was one of our bigger swings for TFT in a while. The thing to talk about today has been the accessibility of divergent paths, and how the more restrictive unlocks hamper the ability to make adjustments as the game goes on. We've made a few minor adjustments each patch here (things like making Kennen or Kaisa easier to access) and all of these have been successful in opening up new strategies. So in Patch 16.6, we're going to take this to kind of it's maximum, and ease up on pretty much every unlock condition. The goal of these changes is that there is still a minor "hoop" to jump through to unlock champs, but that it's the easiest possible version of it so that if you want to pursue those lines, you have complete agency to do so. Here are some examples of changes you can expect. -Darius: Have Draven Drop 1 Gold >>> 1 item equipped to a Draven -Nidalee: 2x Two star Neeko >>> Two star Neeko with 3 items and Level 7 -Rift Herald: Void for 8 combats >>> Void for 2 combats and Level 7 -Veigar: Unit with 2x Deathcap >>> Yordle with 1x Deathcap We believe these changes will breathe even more life into the set with 100 champions, and open up more ways to play then before. We also believe it will lead to some valuable insights on the unlock system as a whole. This change comes at an exciting time in the competitive calendar, with Regional Finals and the Tactician's Crown right around the corner. We expect this will require players to explore new builds and open up lines, as they head towards the end of the set. We hope it will be exciting for players, viewers! One final challenge for the competitive scene in Lore & Legends. We're aiming to get these changes onto PBE as soon as possible. I'll post again once they are on PBE so competitive folks can practice as early as possible, as well as give us any feedback around any glaring issues they see (hopefully none, but better safe than sorry!) Again, we do believe this will make an already fun set even more interesting...but let us know once you get your hands on it. Thanks everyone, and I look forward to seeing how everyone enjoys!

Can we add a level lock to Kennen unlock and reduce the number of stars needed to like 6 or something? I've never been so frustrated unlocking a core unit, I can't imagine what a casual player trying to play Freljord Ryze has to go though.

If you are losing rounds to zilean bug (zilean not casting first turn on level 10). You can avoid it by holding extra zilean on bench and swapping board zilean with bench zilean and then swapping back. If no extra zilean, remover zilean items and carry anything else for one turn.
