I really don't like/understand these takes. It's the biggest stage the sport has and it's awesome. They offer several hundred seats to students for $40. tickets are still stupid expensive but if the games were played in Gainbridge tickets would cost over $5k

@westerosies HOTD season 3 has a lot of content that will draw the masses in sort of the same way game of thrones later seasons did. Harry potter is a more accessible franchise with a larger fanbase. Could easily go both ways but I'd say harry potter with it being a new show this year.

@herelieselijah I actually think it could have benefited from a longer runtime. Astrophage was really not introduced properly, and the stakes werent emphasized. I thought stratt was diminished in the film and the ending was insanely fast. It was good and fun, but I was a little disappointed.

@sami_abdt I’d imagine making a canonical story as a video game would be challenging (if thats what they’d go for) while also making an interesting large scale story. But yes it would be an absolute hit and I would love one.

@0laribiwa Honestly, my first rewatch of game of thrones was more enjoyable for me than the first watch through. The entire background of season 1 was essentially new information because the first watch is a struggle just to put names to faces. I’ll never stop rewatching.
