I left Israel last night on a rescue flight full of Americans. I originally went to the Middle East because there was a South Carolina family who was stranded. And because when your people are stranded in a war zone getting hit with missiles and rockets, the only answer worthy of the office - worthy of our country - is to get them out. I have not slept. Not eaten much. And seen things. I am grateful for every exhausting moment of it. There are those who govern from a distance - who weigh the optics or wait for the situation to resolve itself - and then there are those who get on a plane. I am the person who has always gotten on the plane. The family I traveled here for are safely home. But then I learned about more families. Hundreds of families. Thousands. Still stranded. Whom Grey Bull Rescue and others are helping. Grey Bull has been evacuating Americans. This was their 808th mission. They got out 155 Americans yesterday, families with infants and students. They had the people but didn’t have the plane. I jumped in to get the plane (Thank you State Dept, Embassy Jordan, Israel and Greece). Seeing this conflict firsthand reminds you of what's at stake when the world becomes dangerous and leadership becomes a question of character, not convenience. Tonight I am grateful. And I will never forget what I saw. What I learned. And the Americans who volunteered to help their fellow Americans, and those who are serving our nation patriotically tonight and always.

President Trump will always put America’s national security and Americans first. And as I have said before, the President has multiple tools in his toolbox. Let’s be clear: the Court did not rule against this Administration’s tariffs. It only said IEEPA can’t be used to raise revenue. We will immediately shift to other proven authorities—Sections 232, 301, and 122—to keep our tariff strategy strong.

Today, the Supreme Court decided that Congress, despite giving the president the ability to "regulate imports", didn't actually mean it. This is lawlessness from the Court, plain and simple. And its only effect will be to make it harder for the president to protect American industries and supply chain resiliency. President Trump has a wide range of other tariff powers and he will use them to defend American workers and advance this administration’s trade priorities.
