i think one of the reasons I dont like jax abstracting is it doesnt really work in a show like this. like its a very personal story and a cautionary tale which and it isnt TERRIBLY written but its very jarring when its in a show like tadc which is mean to be hopeful

i've seen people saying "why should we respect jax's identity if he was a bad person?" and it infuriates me. representation isn't always made of characters without flaws; jax was a repressed transfem who grew up in an abusive house and did horrible things but this changes nothing
