@nealstephenson Neal, the mysteries of publishing schedules meant I had access to Polostan a couple of weeks back here in Australia. Throughly enjoyed, and thank you for all your novels.
This hit my feed today and I thought it might interest you (1st Pu sample): youtube.com/shorts/SHTreEh…

@doctorow My daughters like 10th word was shit. I am not worried.

Making up words is a perfectly cromulent passtime, and while most words we coin disappear as soon as they fall from our lips, every now and again, there's a word that fits so nice and kentucky in the discourse that it acquires a life of its own:

@Markle2k @GeorgeTakei I've found there's enough flex in the steel to get clearance and have it pop back into shape, but the only jar I typically have problems with is one specific brand of salsa so YMMV.
And now I'm curious whether banging actually flexes the lid enough to achieve a similar result.
English

@DopedSi @GeorgeTakei That lid will not be liquid-tight. Banging it on the floor almost always works. Silicone rubber mats help with grip issues. If all else fails, they do make automatic jar openers, but they cost $30+ and take up a lot of space

@BroHilderchump Are you taking full advantage of the dad joke possibilities of "It was so cold taking the bins out I thought my toes would fall off!"?
English

@PhysicsHigh It's a bit early in the morning for that isn't it?
On the other hand, cappuccino froth might be a reasonable alternative. My espresso machine is warming up as we speak...

@ManyATrueNerd Jon's Perception = 0 strikes again. You don't even see that your audience have been attracted to the general positivity in your channel, which means we'd rather see a gap in the schedule than pain for you and Claire. Take the time needed for the two of you.
English

@BroHilderchump Straight from ear to ear, hitting nothing important.

@Serrels You've got to watch the bits of fishing lines (with hooks!) on that one. Allegedly.
English

@Serrels Amusingly I was reading this about "green juice" just last night, with a corker of a description in the blurb
