On today’s Grant Impact Series, we’re spotlighting Dorcas Makanjuola. One of the backbones in @SuperteamNG Kaduna community, always behind the camera, capturing every event through her videography and photography. Her dedication didn’t go unnoticed. She received a grant in recognition of the value she continually brought to her community, and she immediately reinvested it into upgrading her content tools. That upgrade became a turning point, helping her stand out and eventually earn a spot as one of the Final 12 creators in the @chompdotgames Creator competition. Dear food vendors, consistency in your recipe is not optional, it’s your brand’s selling point!

@ChickenRepublic has different branches across multiple states, yet their meals taste the same everywhere. That’s consistency! Sadly, they don’t have a branch where I stay, so I had to “manage” what was available.

As an eatery, why should your recipe be inconsistent? A new eatery at that! Having a unique taste is part of your brand identity. I complained, and the waiter said, “We have different cooks.” Sorry, but that’s not an excuse!

Kaduna Scribloors meetup was amazing. First off, there's nothing sleepy about the Kaduna Writers. Except for the ones who actually showed up to nap. Second, we re-emphasized that this community is all about deliberate practice. If you're consistently doing the wrong thing, your PS5 score will be 10-0 (and you'll be the 0). The meetup was a fun time. Our conversation jumped from sharing personal stories about writing and research, to @Iamfrosh_boss hunting for alpha on his PC, and @Aisha_Haruun getting much-needed encouragements to keep her going. Insightful activities and words of wisdom were dropped – "A good product roast is a love language," "Consistently bad is still bad," etc. There wasn't any need for boring games, we held a badchain roast session for a certain Superteam NG product, and then onboarded everyone right after. 😂 Then came the proper games session, where a certain Scribloor received a 10-0 baptism. I won't name names, but humbling experiences were definitely had. All in all, we lost track of time sharing stories of the community's impact and how we support each other IRL. An impromptu 3-hour meetup somehow turned into 6+ hours of gisting and gaming. Huge thanks to @SuperteamNG for empowering a community that actually looks out for its own.
