Whenever I try to read through the GITS manga the voice i default to is often no different from any of the pre-2026 adaptations which i think is indicative that for whatever difference the post Oshi Major has from the source its still fundamentally her

I agree. A better script and of course better make up and I think Jackie Earl Haley would be much better remembered as Freddy. I kind of want them to give him another crack at the role.
