Everyone at Dormanstown Primary Academy would like to thank #Northern Gas Networks for their generous donation of £300 towards our choir's performance at the Royal Festival Hall in London. We are all looking forward to performing and visiting the sights of London.

The choir children have been out yesterday rehearsing for the Royal Festival Hall concert.

The Year 5’s & Year 6’s competed really well in a dodgeball competition held at Southlands leisure centre last week. They only lost 1 game all afternoon and finished in 3rd place. Well done everyone!!!! #TeamDormo #LetsPlayDodgeball

Thank you everyone for Christmas Enterprise on Wednesday. This was a huge success. A total of £452.50 was raised.

2A have been building a phenomenal igloo for their reading corner as part of their Frozen Kingdom topic. It has taken us 3 weeks and 1 day to build using a grand total of 544 milk cartons.

Dormanstown Primary Academy PE children competed very well in the TVED Quad Kids event at Eston Leisure Centre this week. Everyone did great but we had 3 stand out girls from Year 2 and they are in the top 5 from their year group. #TeamDormo

Children had a 'spook-tacular' time at the KS1 Halloween disco. There was a wonderful display of costumes.

The total raised for the Halloween Disco was £384.78. Thank you everyone.

As part of our topic people who help us, the Reception children had a visit from the Fire Brigade.
