Two beauties opening this weekend. The new @DornochDist 5yr an ex bourbon octave. One of 72 bottles. Bought from @NickollsPerks who sold this to specialist whisky bars. Also, a Blantons single barrel at 66.2%, which sold out in 20mins! We’re happy to get these open and pouring 🥃

“There has been no request for an exemption” says @ScotSecofState in relation to UKIMA. This is a direct contradiction to a letter I received yesterday from @lornaslater stating that “the formal process is underway for seeking an exclusion.” These both can’t be true.

In the last few days I’ve been contacted by: -A brewer that has been made redundant because of DRS. -A small distillery that has let their team go and is starting winding up process because of DRS. The damage has started @lornaslater. A DRS that ruins business is unacceptable.

When asked how many producers have signed @Circ_Scotland’s producers agreement minister @lornaslater said, “Those numbers are with Circularity Scotland and are not with me at this time.”
