Pleased to find a lot of Heath Tiger beetles at DWT Sopley Common today despite the lack of heat and constant sun we were promised.I've only ever seen one before, many years ago.

The Purbeck pigs have an important role in conservation. 🐷 Their rooting and snuffling create bare patches which are vital for many species including sand lizards. 🦎 It's important not to stroke or feed them though or they will become quite demanding!

It was great to join our friends @BirdsofBARI and @nationaltrust at Knoll Beach! We showed the Year 6s the variety of habitats in this stunning location.

Good job the fire brigade got to Upton Heath so quickly on Saturday. It was the gorse that had been set on fire.
