Thank you to Dosbarth 5 who prepared and led a range of fantastic activities for our first maths champions session.

We enjoyed our first reading activities session with Class 4.

We participated in Cafod’s Climate Justice workshop and created our own posters to share in a parliament. We loved playing the climate change game and acting out the ways to be good stewards to our world. #CatholiclifeandmissionYES #ReligiouseducationYES #CSTYES

We celebrated Shwmae day by taking part in a ‘Cwis Bwyd’ using our Welsh vocabulary. We enjoyed visiting local businesses to share our posters promoting the Welsh language and explain the many benefits of bilingualism. @ShwmaeSumae

Classes 3, 4 and 5 have enjoyed our first rotation of Fun Friday activities.

Congratulations to our recently appointed Faith Ambassadors for the year who will be helping to lead whole school prayer and liturgy sessions and daily class prayers.

Class 3 joined the NFU Harvest Carnival online lesson and enjoyed learning about the ingredients used to make the Caribbean Carnival Soup.

We are enjoying our P-Buzz lessons with Mrs Sweeney-Davies. We are learning lots and particularly enjoy the rhythm game ‘Don’t play this one back!’

We have enjoyed learning about the Seder plate shared by Jewish families during the Passover meal. We even had a chance to make our own unleavened bread. #ReligiouseducationYES #CatholiclifeandmissionYES

We enjoyed our first workshop to make the frames for our lanterns and we are looking forward to the second workshop to complete our creations next week.

We enjoyed creating our nature journals based on our trip down to the board walk with Mrs King .

We learnt how to keep safe in the sea during today’s Bluestone water safety assembly.

Mrs King introduced us to the work of the Durrell Trust and how they work towards protecting and reintroducing endangered species.

We enjoyed investigating the contents of the moth trap this morning. We identified many different types and were fascinated by their fantastic camouflage.

We enjoyed our walk down to Goodwick Moor with Mrs King from the Durrell Trust. We identified a number of birds from their calls and found many types of flowers.
