Four years ago today in the Class AA state semifinals, one of the most exciting basketball games I’ve covered. The lead changed hands three times in the final 22 seconds, ending in a 42-40 Poca win against Charleston Catholic on this clutch Isaac McKneely 3 with 1.7 seconds left.

My boys’ high school basketball coach announced his retirement today after 44 years, more than 700 wins, and 3 state titles. He’s more than a coach, he’s family to us. Congratulations Coach Osborne! The good news is you’ll be free to come cheer on the Hoos more often now 😉
