This morning it was hard to find a rhythm… hard to get out of bed, even harder to find good reps. In Between catching breath and searching for the motivation. It came in the form of a Group of little people with eager eyes and 20 questions. This Afternoon will be easy… #EACHONETEACHONE

This is hilarious Dan Hurley listens to his players’ pregame music “What does this get you ready to do? Get a rebound, fight through a screen? Now I know why we had the year we had” (Via @DieHardUConn 🎥)

When Kobe Bryant said his insane level of confidence came from knowing he’d done all he could to prepare, it taught me that anytime I’m nervous it means I didn’t prepare enough.

Very saddened about the Ethan Dietz situation. Ethan was someone’s son, brother, teammate, and best friend. He was more than just a JUCO basketball player. I didn’t know him personally, but he seemed like an unbelievable human. As a coach, nothing was more important than making sure our players were SAFE! Safe in the dorms, safe on campus, safe in the town, and safe on the court. I feel very fortunate to coach at institutions like Casper College and State College of Florida, with full time trainers and policies/procedures regarding medical treatment. If the reports are true, it is absolutely heartbreaking that Ethan didn’t get the care he deserved, which most likely would have saved his life. A widespread investigation amongst JUCO and small college athletic departments is more than needed to ensure student-athletes safety is always placed above winning. Thoughts and prayers go out to Ethan’s family, friends, and teammates. No one can bring him back, but we can create a safe environment for the future.
