🚨THE DEBRIEFING: TIMELINES PATTERNS TRUST GRASSLEY & THE SWISS VAULT @ChuckGrassley In February 2026, Senator Chuck Grassley revealed that the United States Senate Judiciary Committee had identified eight hundred and ninety accounts at Credit Suisse with suspected ties to the Nazi regime. That number is significant. But it's not the number that matters most. The number that matters is 2020. Because that's how recently some of those accounts were still open. Not 1945. Not the 1990s, when Swiss banks paid a billion and a quarter dollars and told the world the matter was settled. Two thousand and twenty. The year the pandemic started. The year before Archegos Capital delivered a five-and-a-half-billion-dollar wound to Credit Suisse's balance sheet. Three years before the Swiss government brokered an emergency weekend rescue and handed the entire institution to UBS. The SS economic office the unit that financed the concentration camp system held an account at this bank. Investigators say it was used to fund the escape of Nazis to Argentina through what intelligence historians call the Ratlines. Credit Suisse also managed funds for the German foreign ministry and a German arms manufacturer. These weren't artifacts sitting in a forgotten filing cabinet. These were maintained financial relationships, exposed now for the first time at this scale. Senator Grassley says the bank's ties to the SS were "more extensive than previously thought." The probe concludes this summer. The final report drops by the end of the year. And here's what nobody is connecting yet. The bank that held these accounts doesn't exist anymore. It was eliminated in March 2023. UBS which now owns everything Credit Suisse ever touched is the entity sitting in front of that Senate committee, trying to argue that a settlement from 1999 closed the book. The Senate doesn't think the book is closed. The Senate thinks they just found the chapters that were ripped out. What was Credit Suisse actually holding? How long did the postwar financial architecture remain operational inside one of the world's most prestigious banks?
