never understood why people lie. consciously putting yourself in a position where you have to pretend that the false affirmations you've said in the past are true has to be the stupidest thing you can do. it takes an incredible amount of energy to paint the lies as truth. and you put more pressure on yourself for no f*cking reason. no reason to lie. one day the cracks start showing. lying and getting away with it is not a thing. for you to not get caught with a lie,you need to have a flawless performance every time someone confronts you about some bs you've said in the past. but for them to expose your lies,they just need to be perspicacious and push the right buttons ONE TIME. thats all it takes. next time you want to lie,do the f*cking math & see if its really worth it.
