Why did they drop the Dixie from their name? had to do with Dixie and slavery, I think, so they dropped it from the name. I am not sure if Natalie Maines is still with them. She is the powerhouse of the group. I saw 'em in Toronto a while back - they were awesome, and VERY loud.

@DougDougscott52 I hear ya! It's amazing how the dividing line between Winter & Spring in NB-PE-NW is so defined & reliable around now, versus NL where Mother Nature is: "I'm not quite sure yet, & really can't tell you when I will be". And if you wait til it's warm, the summer is real short.
