@05HAWKI For the first game I sat in the empty ones next to me and it was horrible, especially with the people in front of those seats having them as well. No room at all. Just sitting on the bench this week was much better.

So yesterday was our first day sitting in the new chair backs at Kinnick and.... I don't like them? Very uncomfortable after a few minutes. Seem to have awkward pressure points.

@05HAWKI My youngest got it, because she managed to get it when she was too young for the vaccine. We high fived once each of the other ones got old enough for it, so we didn't have to go through that again.

The Chickenpox one is kind of amazing because it's happened in my lifetime. When I was a kid, everyone, myself included, got chickenpox in grade school, sometimes with kids out of school for weeks. Now, it just ... isn't a thing. Vaccines work.

Construction of the new Arena parking ramp starts next week. While it'll be nice having more spots closer to CHA during the winter with less walking in the cold, I feel like the traffic jams leaving games will be 4 times as bad once it's complete🥴
