@nagoyan2gou Trump has pretty much not delivered any of his promises, even in 2016. We've seen this play out many times and I hope people vote Democrat to hold him and his corrupt cabinet accountable. Trump is effectively holding the right wing back.

It wasn't my fault, just the facts. They moved shortly thereafter. I've often wondered it that was the cause.

Gun Stuff 24, the AR Note; As always, my opinions are my own, and may not reflect yours. This one is gonna lose me some friends. I don't like AR's. There, I said it. I've built a dozen or so, over the years, still own two. I carried both the M16A2 and M4 into the real, but they leave me flat. They are a tool, like a crescent hammer. One of my currents (below) was built specifically to address the issues I see with the platform in its present configuration, and it still invokes a resounding "meh." Credit where due, Eugene Stoner added what I consider to be the last great advancement in firearms technology: modularity. It is very nearly a plug and play system, and can be made very nearly, rube proof. I know lots of folks love it, sing it's praises, and likely perform unnatural acts with it when they think no ones looking, but it's just not to my taste. One of the modern bits of (and I use this term advisedly) "AR culture" that really gets up my nose is the tendency to hang tacticrap all over the poor guns like they are a long haul truck in India. The platform was designed to be light, handy, and user friendly, not the cockpit of the Aluminum Falcon (deliberate). Those bits of kit do not make you a better marksman. What they do, is add weight, complexity, and mechanical joints, each of which creates slop between your eye, and the direction of the muzzle, which is the final arbiter of accuracy. What they don't do, is add to your budget for range time and practice ammo. So from two directions, all that stuff has decreased your ability to hit what and where intended, and you have paid money for the privilege. Fixed iron sights, minimal slop, minimal snag, minimal weight. I'll say it the day I die. I could go on, but you get the idea. Looking forward to people sending me photos of their targets, and thinking, but not writing, funny things. To be continued....

If your child is 14 or younger, participating in the protest might make it seem like the school is manipulating them. If your child is 14 or older, rest assured, Dad. That child understands the world better than you do and, with a pure heart, can clearly distinguish between “good” and “evil” without being swayed by personal gain or rights. So, if they’re 14 or older, please support them in skipping school this time to join the anti-Trump protest. Because children have purer hearts than you do.

In the previous thread, an American user replied with a photo of an AR equipped with an M203. When it comes to recoilless rifles, I like the Carl Gustaf 84mm, which I used when studying self-defense in school.

@DougMinMN @MrShermichael Single representative states like Wyoming, Alaska, Delaware, Vermont, & North & South Dakota are statewide races. There is nothing to do.

One radical idea: end gerrymandering through at-large U.S. House seats apportioned by partisan voting patterns. Example: 30 percent of a state votes for Democrats? There are 10 seats in that state in total? 3 go to Democrats. The same would apply for my party. It’s fair, reflects the way people really vote and is more representative than the salamander shaped districts we currently see. Math is fair, everyone understands it, and if voters want to change the apportionment, they have to register and vote differently.

This is obviously super old footage. But i see modern day shit like this all the time. If you attend a self-defense (non-firearms related) seminar and they teach you anything other than how to break contact and fucking run, that instructor is doing you a huge disservice. There is absolutely nothing about fighting you can become proficient at in a 6-hour seminar at the YMCA, and pretending otherwise gives people a false sense of confidence that will more than likely get them severely hurt.

耕作放棄地の再生のリアル。 これくらいの石がゴロゴロ出てくる。何回取っても出てくる。何度も取って耕してを繰り返す。少しずつだけど畑としての機能を取り戻していく。 これまで3ヘクタールの耕作放棄地を再生してきて思うのは、再生には最低3年かかるということ。初年から野菜はできるけどクオリティは下がる。でも、年々土ができてくるから野菜も作りやすくなる。 畑は使ってなんぼ。使わないと劣化が半端ない。これからも耕作放棄地をどんどん引き受けていく。👩‍🌾
