Canada won’t bend to the U.S… the country that drives 75% of our trade But we’re restructuring our entire economy… to meet demands from a market that represents 4% Make that make sense.

You have the right to leave the country. You don't have a right to take a piece of it with you. You can hold whatever votes you like. But you can't vote to help yourself to something that isn't yours. All of the territory of Canada belongs to all of Canada. Canada's future can only be decided by Canadians as a whole, not by groups within it, however desperate or fanatical. (Which they are, pretty much by definition: to think that the only solution to your grievances, real or imagined, is to destroy one of the most successful countries that has ever existed marks you out as an extremist from the start.)

@NoLimitGains It's Friday - how could we go without manipulation and fear? Again, they're throwing in fear so people spend Saturday and Sunday . By Monday, everything will settle. How many times can I repeat this? And people still fall for it.

🚨 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE Gold and silver wiped out $5.9 TRILLION worth of market cap within 30 MINUTES. Do you understand how crazy that is? To put that in perspective, we just saw wealth equivalent to the combined GDP of the UK and France evaporate in less time than it takes to order pizza. This doesn’t even feel real. A move of this magnitude, in such a compressed timeframe, is far beyond a standard "6-sigma" event. It’s off the charts historically… Why are we seeing this? Extreme events like this almost always come from the market’s structure: instantaneous de-leveraging, cascading margin calls, collateral evaporation, and forced selling. We’re talking about massive internal strains in the system’s mechanics. Translation: THE SYSTEM JUST BROKE When precious metals, "safe haven" assets, vaporize trillions in minutes, they’re telling you, explicitly, that we are living through a real paradigm shift. The next few days will be INSANE, but don’t worry I’ll keep you updated like I always do. Btw, i called every market top and bottom of the last decade, and i’ll call my next move publicly as always. Many people will wish they followed me sooner.

What if the reason Bitcoin is selling off is as simple as Institutions do not want to be long something that has a non-zero chance of going to zero overnight due to quantum computing? Perception is everything, so even if that is unlikely, it is a huge risk in an already deemed risky asset.

In Carney’s “new world order,” when did China go from our greatest security threat to a “strategic partner”? Canadians deserve answers.

@NorthrnPrspectv What would Denmark do? Come on, get with the program. Greenland as Canada are sorely exposed caused by our continued weak leadership decisions, fully against our citizens best interests. Someone needs to step up...only Trump seems willing. The choice is simple..Freedom, oppressio

Considering 85% of Greenlanders do not want to become part of the U.S, shouldn't this end the discussion with Trump if this is just about negotiating? Or do you decide that the wishes of the inhabitants don't matter and the will of their people should be subverted? veriangroup.com/news-and-insig…

We know this position won’t please everyone. We can agree with some Trump policies and disagree with others. Threatening another country’s sovereignty crosses a clear line. We oppose China threatening Taiwan for the same reason we oppose anyone threatening Greenland. Sovereignty matters. Diplomacy and agreement are the way forward.
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

It is unacceptable for the U.S. to seize the territory of a sovereign country, including by threatening tariffs on other NATO countries. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark and we support its territorial integrity. Conservatives support NATO and Canada’s obligations as a NATO member. Canada should strengthen the NATO alliance and rebuild our own forces in the Arctic to combat threats also coming from China and Russia and to protect our seas, skies and soil.

Thank you! Yes, I’m okay with that. We can’t be defending irrational actions & justifying it by stating “China” or “Russia” might take it. They won’t. Nor can we “let the US extort the EU into annexing a country - it’s for security reasons”. They are a sovereign nation. What if tariffs are set to 100% on Canada, the US doesn’t renegotiate CUSMA, and they try the same with us? I know many Canadians may welcome it, but I certainly don’t. I like America. But I love Canada more. And we need to have respect for OTHER COUNTRIES BORDERS AND SOVEREIGNTY. It’s crazy to say this out loud and that it’s a topic of conversation.

No one can argue against this. Ever. Extortion through tariffs to seize another country is utter madness. It’s something that every Canadian needs to get behind. Carney needs to strongly condemn these actions, like Pierre has. Not soft language of “we’re concerned”. It needs to be an unequivocal stance. The ends do not justify the means. And regardless of what the US intentions are, this should be seen as an economic invasion of a sovereign nation. It’s insane.

@cbcwatcher That oil and especially the info regarding production and dist. are highly skewed we will be amazed how fast America brings it back online and flowing the right direction, not funding dictators. Our Canadian oil and the opportunities we have squandered will evaporate so fast, sad

Four panelists attack Poilievre... when Carney said essentially the same thing Carney "I'll say a couple of things. One is that from our perspective, the removal of an illegitimate, corrupt, repressive government or leader, Mr. Maduro, is welcome news." The Globe's Levitz, using David Eby's script, also attacks Poilievre over his pipeline advocacy. Poilievre has never argued for a state owned pipeline. Why is she playing this stupid? The fastest way for Mark Carney to restore economic growth, attract private investment in pipelines and resource development is to recall Parliament & repeal the tanker ban, the “no-more-pipelines” laws C-69, the Net-Zero mandates, and related policies of his "old" Liberal government. Levitz knows this but playing stupid puts her in good standing with CBC These people dont even try to hide their bias @StephanieLevitz @TaylorVaisey @robertbenzie
cbcwatcher@cbcwatcher

Listen 🔊 to this clip from CBC's The House yesterday, host Catherine Cullen hopes for a gotcha with Kate Harrison regarding Pierre Poilievre's comments on the Maduro extraction... and the Liberal pundit on the panel, Marci Surkes, sets Cullen straight "I think what we do have to keep our eye on and what is alarming is the subsequent statements, of course, by the president, which don't align with what Mr. Poilievre called for, which is actually the president guiding himself based on, quote, his own morality rather than the international rules based order" @MarciSurkes @KatlynHarrison @cath_cullen

Jeff Rutledge "Well, let me first start by saying that I think this is a fundamental mistake by the prime minister in making this trip to try to set a new strategic partnership" "I think it puts us in a very dangerous position in terms of our conversations with the US who has been very explicit about their desire to isolate China." "...And I think that there will be lots of promises that will be made to the Canadian government in their visit to China this time, and I think very little of them will be followed through on because China has one goal here and that's defending and protecting their economy and promoting their economy. And their priorities have nothing to do with those of Canadians." @Jeff_Rutledge

Sadly, as the entire world witnessed the assassination of a young husband, father and patriot less than 24 hours ago, there is a common thread and a nauseating explanation. Mark Carney was (s)elected as a result of a laser focused hate campaign targeting a sitting American President. Carney, the Canadian Liberal government and the Canadian State Media colluded, created, molded, perpetuated and engaged in rage farming, reminiscent of c0v1d, those who refused the v*xx, the Freedom Convoy and the unprecedented and unconstitutional invocation of the Emergencies Act. In doing so they have betrayed the Canadian people. Rhetoric like this put targets on the backs of people like me from people who were repeatedly told by the above mentioned organizations that I’m a t3rr0rist, stole $8M and tried to overthrow a sitting government, tried to burn down an apartment building, stole food from the homeless, desecrated the War Memorial and Terry Fox statue, lied about my heritage, and was being influenced by the Russians. All you have to do is look at the headlines from the leading legacy media today on Mr. Kirk’s assassination. They only win by stoking hatred and division. It must stop. @ChrisBarber1975
