When Jesus died, it looked like injustice & evil had won, but he overcame and lives. I can face tomorrow because Jesus lives. Even when I’m facing a losing battle, I know I am in a winning war. (Thank you to @mika_edmondson for this reminder last Sunday.)

In the 1950s, a deaf Korean artist, Kim Ki Chang, reimagined Jesus’ life through a Korean cultural lens and painted these images (and more) of Jesus’ life set in a Korean Joseon dynasty context (“The Life of Christ” paintings).
