Douglas County Government offices will be closed tomorrow in observance of the National Juneteenth Holiday. Regular operations will resume Thursday, June 20th.

Election day is tomorrow! Voters return to the polls to cast ballots in the General Primary/Nonpartisan and Special Election runoff races. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Remember to vote at your designated precinct!

Our County is recognizing Youth Art Month by celebrating some student artists in our county! Our second artist is Amelia Tappler, an 11th grader at New Manchester High. Her work is featured in the “Dream In Art” Exhibition at the Courthouse along with the works of other students.

In continuing with the celebration of National Youth Art Month, we are spotlighting some of the wonderful artists whose works are featured in the “Dream In Art” Exhibition at the Douglas County Courthouse. Our first artist is Juliette Bentley, an 8th grader at Fairplay Middle.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Transfer Station located at 1730 County Services Rd. Douglasville, Ga. 30134, will be closed until further notice.  No MSW/Household trash will be accepted at this time.  Please note, the landfill and recycle center remain open for your use.

The Douglas County courthouse has been commemorating National Voter Registration Day! The Voter Bus will be outside the courthouse from 10am - 2pm today & tomorrow for residents to stop by & register or check status of registration. For more info: mvp.sos.ga.gov
