Well done to all who participated in our annual steeplechase event this afternoon. The top performer was Jonson (Third Form), who completed the course in under fifteen minutes! Thank you to Mr Jones for organising it, and to all the staff who marshalled or recorded times.

A huge thank you to Joe's Bows for a fantastic day of fun activities. From laser clay shooting and axe throwing to archery and falconry, our boarders had a memorable and brilliant time! This on-site activity was part of our new weekend activity programme for boarders.

As part of our European Day of Languages celebrations this week, the MFL department organised a QR code treasure hunt. Using their iPads, pupils had to scan QR codes hidden around the school to generate questions for them to answer about various cultures and languages.

The weather was perfect yesterday for the first boarders' activity of the school year. This weekend, it was a local one - a trip to nearby @EHdovercastle. Discovering the history of what they see daily from The Close gave them a different perspective on the town they now live in.

Our Sixth Form Biologists had a very productive day on the dunes of Studland yesterday, observing psammosere - an ecological succession that began life on newly exposed coastal sand. They are returning to the College this evening, having had a brilliant field trip.
