Dowell Middle School

All medication in the clinic MUST be pick up by an adult with the exception of self-care diabetics and students who self-carry emergency medications by 4:00 PM on the last day of school. Medication not picked up the last day of school will be immediately disposed of @ 4:00 PM.

Gay Slade is our last Leading Lion for the school year! We celebrate her 34 years of service in public education. Wishing her all the best in retirement!

8th grade STAAR testing is tomorrow and Thursday. Students are unable to pause and resume testing. Laptops need to be charged tonight and chargers are needed at school both days. A good night’s rest and healthy breakfast are recommended. DMS will be a closed campus for testing.

Congratulations to our talented art students who participated last weekend in our Jr Visual Arts Scholastic Event and earned highest ratings.

Students from Dowell MS participated in an International Collaborative Art Project that paired them with peers from the Children's Art School named after Oleksa Novakivskyi in Lviv, Ukraine. Artist completed half of it before it crossed the globe for their partner to finish.
