The Puma is out of the Kentucky Derby this morning with a physical issue. The scratch deadline was 9 a.m. yesterday morning, and by rule no also-eligible horse can get into the race afterward, so Corona de Oro will not draw in.

The Puma has been scratched from the Kentucky Derby. Swollen pastern left front and skin infection. Nothing major but needs to be treated with antibiotics.
