@downpillow2 It's a 1.5 inch hole. The purpose of the 2nd jug is to help feed the down slowly into the 1st jug. Keeps the down from rushing too fast and plugging up the small hose. This design has worked very well for me. I'm sure there's other ways to do it

Joy!!! After years of trying🤔I've finally found a way of overfilling jackets and sleeping bags easily. It came to me in a dream!! 2 Walmart water jugs, a small air pump and some hose. Air blows the down in through a tiny hole with no mess. Now if only down wasn't so expensive😕

This big down blower is a dust collector used in carpentry shops to collect saw dust. I just added a foot pedal control and a few reducers to the hose. I've only used it one time to make the big orange and camouflage comforter. It's much too powerful for small jobs like overfilling jackets.
