For 1 week only our Lunchtime Concert is going on tour! We're going about 5 mins away, back to what was Emmanuel URC & is now the Pembroke Auditorium. Join us as we enjoy Tim Palmer + Chris Dexter-Mills performing Schubert's 'Winterreise' & the auditorium.
Our kind + talented Junior Church created colourful crosses, members of our pastoral care group bought plants & the two were put together to decorate the church steps on Easter morning. They were then collected by our elders + pastoral visitors & whisked off to their new owners.
Over the Easter bank-holiday plants were delivered to those members of our congregation who we especially wanted to let know we were thinking of them.
Out of sight definitely doesn't mean out of mind here at Downing Place URC.

It looks like the Easter Bunny slipped into the concert this afternoon and left a donation for our cause of the month, Phoenix Trust in Milton!🐰

Tomorrow our concert will be given by Irena Radic on the piano. A retiring collection will be taken for @phoenix_trust a local charity working with young people & adults with learning difficulties. Doors open around 12.30 & refreshments will be available afterwards #findyourplace
