And you're ignoring the fact that Iran has just as much economic power through its control over Hormuz as, say, the years of economic support to Ukraine.

@Noel_knows01 @ryangrim Ukraine has advantages in support from the West, Iran has the advantage of being able to cause great pain to the West through control of Hormuz. Both of those advantages mean absolutely nothing if their societies arent willing to fight for national survival.

Yes, theres corruption- but for some reason Ukrainian defenses are still able to make it so the Russians aren't exactly in a hurry to finish the war on their terms.
