I'm finally home. Insane.

The Mavs game ended two hours ago and fans are still waiting on platforms throughout downtown for trains trying to get home on DART. I am one of them. This is a huge failure.

The city is opening a temporary weather shelter in the Fair Park Automobile Building at 4 p.m. Friday. It will remain open 24/7 while freezing temperatures persist.

Go into your local library at midday on any given day and you'll quickly understand how valuable they are and how the proposal to close them is an asinine idea that should be rejected outright.

TxDOT should just leave it closed...as an experiment.
