🔸 Interestingly, we found overall reaction time and seuqence initiation deficits in anxiety disorders and NOT in OCD during abstract sequencing.

🔸Abstract sequences are defined by a rule that governs a series of ordered steps - we hypothesized deficits in this type of sequencing exist in OCD, resulting in common compulsive behaviors, like repetitive checking.
