It can get even more challenging when the defender “plays long”, and there isn’t any surface area to grab.

At the NFL level, TRAIT LIMITATIONS become problems when process breaks down. A 4.2 DB doesn’t need to run faster. An offensive lineman doesn’t NEED longer arms. Traits amplify process — they don’t replace it. Build cleaner decisions and better sequencing. #AMDG

Washington’s Carver Willis was queitly one of the best OL in pass pro on Day 1 of the Senior Bowl. Hand usage is impressive. Replaces hands to stop spin on rep 1 & snatch-and-trap on rep 2.
