Most versatile item in the NHS staff room. Can wipe a surface, dry your hands, or serve as a perfectly acceptable and sterile plate when there’s a birthday cake being divvied up.

Reminds me of the time in sim as an f1 or 2 when I was listening to the manikin’s chest (an arrest simulation or something) unknowingly pressed against the bed’s control buttons and it was lowering. Quite funny to watch back with everyone 😅

My mums manager of a cricket team and asked me to be the medic for one of the days and she just asked “do you know anything about first aid” (me, an ALS trained doctor) 😂🤣

@DrATemple Arguably, ALS doesn’t set one up particularly well for pre-hospital stuff, esp first aid type scenarios. Very hospital oriented with big reliance on kit/investigations/MDT/senior support.
Event work is great, just make sure you’ve got proper kit/indemnity/assurance!
