“Don’t Buy Gold For A Year”: PM Modi’s Appeal Amid Global Crisis Speaking in Secunderabad, Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to citizens not to buy gold for one year amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia and rising economic pressure. He said gold purchases use a large amount of foreign exchange and asked people to act in the national interest. PM Modi also highlighted the need to reduce unnecessary expenses that impact the country’s economy during global uncertainty. His statement has sparked strong reactions online, especially as gold buying remains an important part of Indian weddings and family celebrations. #NarendraModi #GoldPrices #IndiaNews #WestAsiaCrisis #Punetimesmirror

लिख कर ले लो, कोई और पार्टी BJP को हरा नहीं सकती। सिर्फ कांग्रेस पार्टी ही BJP और नरेंद्र मोदी को हरा सकती है - और हम हराएंगे।

Vande Mataram is an ode to a goddess. It cannot be treated on par with the national anthem. Jana Gana Mana celebrates India and its people, not a particular religion. Religion ≠ nation. The man who wrote Vande Mataram was sympathetic to the British Raj and despised Muslims. Netaji Bose, Gandhi, Nehru, and Tagore all rejected it. The Preamble to the Constitution of India begins with “We, the People” — not “Bharat Maa”. It promises “liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship”. The very first provision of the Constitution, Article 1, describes “India, that is Bharat” as a Union of States. In the Constituent Assembly, some members wanted the Preamble to begin in the name of a goddess; they specifically invoked Vande Mataram. Others wanted it to begin “In the name of God” and to replace “its citizens” with “her citizens”. All these amendments were defeated. India, that is Bharat, is its people. The nation is not a goddess; it does not run in the name of a god or goddess, and it does not belong to one god or goddess. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/cabinet-…
