If you or a student in your lab have silylated the OH’s on the surface of glassware on microscale and it solved an important problem in your chemistry, I would like to see a reference describing it. These things aren’t easily searchable because they tend to be buried in SI.

@andrei_yudin Not a silylation but in Org. Process Res. Dev. 2020, 24, 4, 588–598 we found the amount of glass surface available helped with the conversion in a reductive amination.

Hey Twitter, Does anyone know of any tools for converting a chemical structure in an image file format (either a standalone structure or embedded in a reaction scheme) into a machine readable format?

In 2016, with @EastgateMartin and the @bmsnews team we set out to simplify the way Oligonucleotides therapeutics (OTs) are made. Access to a 3-10-3 LNA/DNA gapmer with 4 different P-linkages had pushed the limits of known chem. Today we report a solution: bit.ly/3a9FlV5
