My thoughts are with the people who are receiving bad news today, this is a hard day for them. While some companies in tech have had to lay off staff recently, the number of vacancies in the sector still outweighs the number of people who are looking for employment. There is hope

@DrAmyFowler1 @AerLingus I did the same and forked up for AL going to Manchester, ended up waiting 3 hours for bags with no communication whatsoever from the airline or their ground partner. Unimpressed!

Currently in the queue at Barcelona Airport for the last hour and a half to check in our bags with @AerLingus with a now cranky baby who’s losing her patience, as are we. Decided to pay the extra for AerLingus thinking we’d be getting better service… shocking.

Some facts about NCHDs and Training - thread.. 1 All doctors complete an undergraduate medical degree which takes 4-6 years, paying same costs as all other college students.  They are then qualified as a Doctor.

@NoonanJoe If I hadn’t sent an email today clarifying my pay, I wouldn’t have been paid at all on the next payday, despite the fact I’ve been contacted by HR and sent back a signed contract. Just madness

Yet again placed on the wrong point of scale, despite working in the same hospital last year and despite being assured they would correct my pay scale before first payslip. Was contacted today as they didn’t realize I was still employed and were about to terminate my contract…
