“I just heard a Dad took out a gun… that was you?! The treating Doctor?!”
“Okay, is there anything specific you wanna talk about..?” Neil asked. “Can be good, bad, anything. Just whatever’s on your heart.” He offered.
“much appreciated.”, lucia answered, smiling back. she needed a few more days rest before returning to the field. ((It’s okay!
“We could’ve had this cozy comfortable date at our homes or some other fancy place, but i was thinking ‘why not keeping it simple?’. This right is is simple, cozy and comfortable. It doesn’t have to be something big always, it can also be little or simple. Do you understand me?”
“Hmm not for now. So then just what comes to our minds. Lets just talk, thats what this date is for — to have a comfortable talking date here right on this bench. No pressure.”
“Looked at the lake and watched the ducks. Nothing much but it was nice.”
Neil would kiss her back. “Oh no, you’re even 1 minute too early. But no big deal.” He said and waved it off. “I just arrived 5 minutes ago here myself so don’t worry.”
Neil was in the park & waited for @DrAudreyLim to come. They had just made a date for them to have a comfy couple date on their free day today. Nothing much, just relaxing in the park, talking & nothing else. Simple. Neil sat on a bench & looked at the lake in front of the bench.
lucía gives a small, delayed nod, eyes tracking lim with quiet focus. “understood,” she says. a pause. “no additional requirements at this time.”
lucía blinks slowly, processing it a beat longer than expected. “noted,” she says quietly. a pause. “…functional restoration confirmed.”
+ a pause follows as she processes the update more carefully. “no complications?”
“Oh okay. Well it was nice playing with you. I’ll now just finish the last 3 papers as i already said. See you later tonight, I love you.” Neil said and then kissed her.
“Ah don’t worry. After all i asked. And it wasn’t sudden or overwhelming even if i didn’t ask. To answer the Question: I just can say i want the same as you, marriage, kids, but in the future, not now. But most importantly: With You.” Neil said & gripped her hands, kissing her.
“You really want to be my wife and that we have children together!?” Neil asked perplexed
“What is your biggest goal in life? Personally, not work.”
“Okayyy,” Neil said, stretching the word for no reason. Then he took a selfie with her and posted it,the caption reading: — Playing ToD with my Lovely Audrey. —. “Done.” He said and showed it to her. “Your turn again.”
