What happens when we stop GLP-1 therapy? 🤔 This data is striking: ✔️ ~18% cardiovascular risk reduction after 3 years on treatment ❌ That benefit can disappear in ~1–2 years after stopping But let’s be clear 👇 This doesn’t mean GLP-1 is the problem. It means the disease is still there. 💡 GLP-1 works — but it’s a treatment, not a cure. So the real question is: 👉 Are we managing obesity and metabolic disease… or actually modifying it?
