There are so many people to thank. I can’t thank the program officer enough for her support and encouragement. My mentors: @dhkim0405 & @ligordon, who still believed that it would get funded even when I lost all hope.

Building trust quickly is a superpower. Here’s how—from an FBI Behavior Expert:

The right decision for us is not always the same for others. The right decision is not always answered by following guidelines. We are all unique (not special) in how we think, build trust, and motivate. TLDR: Be kind.

In the context of medicine, we get caught up on what we say and do for patients while forgetting to check in on how they feel. More important, how WE make them feel. This is especially important when trying to motivate for change.
