@DrFate_ @SAVAGEHAWKMAN She smiled. “He’s a good friend.”
Diana stood and stepped away from the bed. “Did we banish what needed banishing?”
English

@OfTruthAndWar “The Tower of Fate. I can provide you with a quick route home as soon as you feel ready to leave. Would you like some refreshment?”
That reminded Fate.
“You had a visitor. @SAVAGEHAWKMAN.”
English

@DrFate_ Diana taking her time could, swinging her legs gently over the edge of the bed.
There was a moment of dizziness, and it passed.
Nodding, “I’m okay. Where am I?”
English

@OfTruthAndWar “You have slept for almost a week, Diana.” Fate continued to observe as he spoke. “Your dreams have indeed been dark of late, which is not a surprise considering the exposure. Are you able to sit up?”
English

@DrFate_ Despite how she felt as the shadows of nightmares left her, Diana smiled.
“I did tell you to just call me Diana. How long have a slept?”
English

@SAVAGEHAWKMAN @OfTruthAndWar - consideration of mine." Fate looked over at Hawkman. "Do you know of you I speak of?"
English

@SAVAGEHAWKMAN @OfTruthAndWar Fate glanced at the table and slowly turned back to Diana.
"I called you here as I understand there was a man once who could travel back to Diana's land. He was welcome there. Perhaps her own House of Healing is the best place for her. I can try and help here, but it is a -

The Hawk stood by the bedside of @OfTruthAndWar, a hand upon her shoulder, studying her appearance.
“Tell me again what happened,” he requested of @DrFate_.
English

@SAVAGEHAWKMAN @OfTruthAndWar "I can provide you with any sustenance you require, you know that. It is unfortunate what happened to Diana, and I do feel some responsibility."
English

@DrFate_ @OfTruthAndWar The Hawk turned and stared at the sorcerer.
"Because it might give me more time to contain the anger I am feeling right now, and stop me from smashing your damn head in, Fate."
He stepped away from Diana's bedside and looked about.
"You have any beer in this stupid tower?"
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek - turned the Amazon over. Her eyes were wide open, glazed, her mouth gently parted.
She had seen... Fate bowed his head.
He lifted her in his arms and looked upward as he phased through the floor and then the roof of the old cabin.
As he flew away with the Amazon, the birds -

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek - fissure widening deeper in the earth, sucking the damned winged evil down towards it!
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek Fate's arms spread, head thrown back as he seemingly shouted aloud a curse. The entire cellar groaned, creaked, the structure seemed to cry out as the stone floor tore apart, fire and burning steam emitting upwards as in response, an earthquake rocked the area with the -
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek Fate had to trust in the Amazon's prowess, her abilities.
Fate had to focus on the spell, the words, the intonation and correct pitch and tone, the meaning, as he prepared to rip the earth from here to beyond the depths of Hades!
English

@FoeForTheWeek @DrFate_ Though warned, the attack took Diana by surprise, lifting her off her feet as she was carried backwards.
She prepared to lash the lasso about the evil just as the jagged beak clasped upon her arm, drawing blood!
Diana gasped in surprise, and then in pain!
𝑇𝘩𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛!
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek "Diana!" Fate shouted over the roaring wind. "Once my spell is complete, you are not to look down the chasm which will form before you! There are sights not meant to be seen, and you do not want to look down into the depths of which I am sending this evil! Heed my words!"
English

@FoeForTheWeek @DrFate_ Her raven black hair was tossed about as she skidded backwards across the dusty floor.
She gripped the lasso tightly, waiting for the moment this ancient evil appeared. If the lasso failed she would found out if her sword could seek out its' black heart...
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek "Prepare thyself, Diana, daughter of Hippolyta, for it knows... It knows we are here!"
Fate hovered upwards, drifting backwards.
"This evil may strike with claws or try to crash into its victim. You must prepare the golden lariat!"
English

@FoeForTheWeek @DrFate_ Diana hold the lasso and stepped forward, but stopped as she felt the drop in temperature, her frosty breath before her...
"What is this black magic, Fate?"
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek - hard-packed limestone floor in the corner, beneath the layers of bone dust.
An arcane symbol was there, etched into the stone floor.
English

@OfTruthAndWar @FoeForTheWeek - in the corner, gathering speed and heft as more of the bone dust joined the spinning, funnel-shaped cloud. Fate's right arm swept to the right, an action that sent the small tornado aside, scattering and dashing the dust across the rest of the cellar floor.
He had reveled a -

@OfTruthAndWar - over his shoulder and the trapdoor above him sprung open.
English

@OfTruthAndWar - observed the shelves lining the cellar walls, congested with junk. Noting a moldy old box, he held out his hand and the box drifted towards him. The box opened and reveled that within it contained old photographs, drawings, and journals. Fate set this aside.
