Honestly, I agree that this should be an option considered. People think they're teaching their child a lesson by letting them raise a baby in their home, but they aren't. Actually they are awarding them by letting them "play house" at 13 years old when gma/gpa are actually raising the kids. I see it all the time on those teen pregnancy shows. Honestly, if I had a 13 year old that got pregnant, she would either have to adopt out through an agency to a loving family or to me & my husband, but I wouldn't allow her to have any rights over that baby unless she left my home (& good luck with that) She'd also be locked up in the house until 18. Way too many gentle parents here who fail to give their children any real consequences for their actions. & thats why we have 13 year olds who dgaf if they get knocked up. My mom always told me that if I got pregnant as a teen, id be on my own and she'd disown me. That was enough to keep my legs closed!!
